Tumanyan as Your Trailhead

Tumanyan is the perfect launching pad for exploring the stunning landscapes of the Debed and Marts canyons. From here, you can hike to hidden gems like Kobayr, Horomayr, and Bardzrakash Monasteries, Odzun’s 7th-century church, Tsater’s cliffside chapel, Hovhannes Tumanyan’s birth house-museum, the city of Alaverdi, or tranquil Tsover Lake.

If you're feeling ambitious, there’s even more to discover in Armenia's rich and historic Lori Province. Many trails have existed for centuries, though few beyond the locals know about them.
